About Mourbi & The insight space

Hello and welcome! I am Mourbi Madhubrata, the founder of The Insight Space. My journey into psychotherapy began with a deep curiosity about human connection and resilience. I observed how early experiences profoundly shape our adult lives, particularly for young women navigating identity, relationships, and self-worth. It is my passion to guide clients through this exploration in a way that feels safe, respectful, and empowering.

My role is not to provide answers but to walk alongside you, offering insight and tools to help you navigate your path. Together, we create a confidential and non-judgemental space where you can be truly seen and heard.

My Therapeutic Approach

  • My work is grounded in several key approaches designed to foster deep and lasting insight:
    • Attachment-Informed: We explore how your early bonding experiences influence your current relationship patterns, helping you understand your needs and develop more secure connections.
    • Trauma-Informed: Recognising that past distressing events can impact your present, we work gently and safely to process these experiences and reduce their hold on you.
    • Person-Centred: You are the expert on your own life. I provide a supportive, empathetic environment where your experiences are validated, and we collaborate on your goals.
    • Relational: The therapeutic relationship itself is a key part of the healing process. In sessions, we build a trusting connection where you can safely explore how you relate to others.

    • I believe in a collaborative approach where warmth, respect, and understanding are paramount. My goal is to empower you with insight and tools, helping you move from feeling stuck towards greater self-acceptance, confidence, and connection.
